Target Beauty Bag

I got my target beauty bag in today!  I was excited for this because it was FREE!!!  YAY!  Obviously with this being target there wasnt going to be high end items, but its a great way to try some different things just the same.  To get this bag you had to sign up for it.  It was out of stock pretty fast though.  Who wouldnt jump on a free bag, lol.

Here is what I recieved:
COUPONS!  lol  Most are $1 off so its a good savings!

Sample set for the Loreal evercream

Clear Scalp and Hair therapy

Jergens moisturizer

Pixi primer.

Fekkai shampoo and conditioner

Topped off, a cute bag!  The box was probably heavier than most birchboxes I recieve as well.

I had never used any of the products that I got to sample with this kit!

Bath and Body works Holiday Candles on sale!

Just wanted to share.....

You can also get $10 off a $30 purchase with the code TEN50!  You can buy 3 candles for $30, but keep in mind there is $7.99 in shipping.  But it is still a great deal!

Glossy Box October, SpaLuxe

I recieved my glossybox today.  Can you sense the excitment in my voice?  LOL.
In all fairness, it wasnt a terrible box, but I am still on the fence if it was worth $21.  I am just not sure.  I almost cancelled it last month but I held out.  I like that with Glossy box, and even MyGlam/Ipsy you dont get as many foil packets and perfume samples as you do with Birchbox (which i did cancel).  I have a box full of samples at this point.  I may finish out the year and then decide.  I would think Holiday has a potential to be good.  We shall see.

So.....on to this months box!

Here is the box!  I do love the box...its sturdy and a good size.  I reuse them a lot.

First item, Krylon for Glossybox blusher in Glossy Rosewood.  Full size, $9.  Its a cute color, but every other video I watched got a cream from Carols Daughter instead.  I was slightly disappointed there.

Heartland Fragrances Exfoliating Loofa Soap.  I like that the soap is poured around the loofa.  Full size $8

Nastassja Skin Enzyme Facial Peel.  I am usually cautious about this type of product as I have VERY sensitive skin.  Full size is $40/2oz.  This container is .25 oz

Alterna Bamboo Luminous Shine Mist.  I often use these type of product in my hair so this is useful.  In winter especially my hair tends to get a bit dry.  $22/4oz.  This bottle is .85oz

Final product is Modelco Lip Duo Lipstick and Ultra Shine Lip Gloss.  The color is great, and its cute that it has a mirror, but there is one small problem.  Full Size, $39

When applying the gloss of lipstick the mirror is of no use whatsoever!  What a let down!!!  LOL

Ciate mini mani month

2 posts in one day!  CRAZY!  LOL
I wanted to go ahead and post this since I wouldnt have time this weekend and by monday I woul probably forget, LOL.  I picked up the Ciate mini many month calendar at Sephora yesterday.  I had a lot of drama with getting my hands on it, but I was determined!  This does have a high price tag ($58) but you get 20 mini polishes and 4 caviar beads too.  The bottles are pretty good sized and the brushes are east to work with.  One word of caution, I have seen people have messed up brushes in their kits.  I recommend you go ahead and check each bottle so you can exchange it if you need to.  I did not have any issues with mine, only a couple wonky bows.
This shows all the colors that are included.  I dont have a swatch wheels so I am not posting each color.  There are some great blogs that do though.

I love the box!!!

Its like a typical advent calendar.  You open one door each day leading up to christmas in the month of december.

This is the colors I went with last night.  Probably would help if I had written down which colors these were, haha!

I think it looks cute on my dresser!  LOL

New Wet N' Wild Megalast

After a very long and somewhat upsetting weekend I decided I needed a break, but didnt want to get to the mall so I went to walgreens.  I was hoping to see the new wet n wild eyeshadow sets but no luck there.  I did manage to pick up 5 new polishes though.  I do like their polishes with 1 exception.  While I love the flat brush its a little wide for my pinkie nail, haha.  Guess I have narrow nails.  But if thats my only issue, I think I can move past it!
I am not thrilled with this color.  Whats funny is that the bottle photographed exactly the same as the color is on my nails, but in person you see more gold in it.  I was hoping for more of an oxblood hue.  Its not my fav, but its still a good fall color.  The color is Under your spell

These are the other ones I picked up.  I havent tested any of them yet.  The colors are Haze of love, Deadly Dose, Toxic Apple and Lethal Injection.  For $1.99 a bottle its hard to beat the quality and lasting power of these polishes.  I am so glad that I was introduced to these by my secret beach bunny!  :-)

dermstore shopping!

I recently had a $25 off $50 coupon for dermstore from beautyfix so I induldged myself in a few new polishes.  :-)  I have been so good about not buying any polishes since I bought the house that I was starting to have withdrawl!  LOL

I picked up Deborah Lippmann Across the Universe and from Butter London I got Thames, Ashton and Lovly Jubbly.

I wanted to swatch the colors, but I dont think I photographed everything!  Oops!  On my thumb I have Thames with Across the Universe on top.  Then in order its Lovly Jubbly, Ashton and as a bonus, OPI Spotted, haha.

inner decorator is bursting out

Most know I have recently purchased my first home, and I am having tons of fun decorating it.  I thought I would share a few of the pictures of what I have done thus far.  I have only been in my house about a month, but I have my house warming party on October 20th so I wanted it to be a little more put together.  I love stores like Zgallerie, Pier 1 and TJ Maxx for my shopping, and draw inspiration from several different magazines on my Kindle.
Also, I know its early but I am looking for new Christmas trees as well, haha.  My old one was 5 ft, and where my living room has a higher ceiling I feel I need at least a 7 ft tree.
Anyway, I am getting off subject.....on to the pictures!

The shower curtain I ordered from Anna's Linens to match my beadspread in the master bedroom.  Everything else came from Bed Bath and Beyond.  I got a 20% off my entire purchase coupon after I did my change of address so I took advantage of it.  I especially love the mirror!  I am thinking of picking up another one for my office.

The large piece over the mantle came from Pier1.  I loved the colors, especially since I wanted the peacock jewel tones.  The candle holders are from Zgallerie and the little owl from TJ Maxx.  The flower and feathers are from Michaels.  I cut apart 2 different arrangements and placed them on the mantle.

This is the guest room.  I need to paint this ASAP, but I love the bed and bedding.  I bought the bed at a resale furniture shop for $250 and the bedding is from Bed Bath & Beyond.

This is my front door, decorated for fall.  I refused to pay $70 for a wreath so I made this one for $20.  I loved the way it came out!  I need 2-3 more pumpkins to fill out the space.

This is the guest bathroom.  I bought this set at the Lenox outlet in Tennessee.  I loved the little birds so when I saw the little birds at Hancock fabric I knew I had to get them!  The curtain, rug, towels (not pictured) and sick accessories were not cheap but not too crazy either.  Plus I figured this bathroom would probably get the most use as its off the living room.

Master bedroom.....i LOVE this bedding!  I bought it at Anna's Linens back in January.  I have since added the big euro pillows.

This is just a little collage early on of a few things I added.

I love the starbursts!  I have this one over by bed but its pretty small.  I think its 14 inches across.  I would love to find a bigger one, but do not want to pay $200 for it either.  I bought this one at Pier1 for $29.  If you know where I can get a bigger one please let me know!!!

Clinique Bonus time at Macy's!

Im never a big one for Bonus time at department stores, but I was at the mall yesterday with my mom and she picked up some creams at the Clinique counter so she let me pick out which of the bonuses I wanted.  She doesnt wear makeup (GASP!!!) so it was a waste for her.  I glady accepted the offer....who doesnt love free stuff!  LOL

Loved the bag!  Great size for travel too.

Several goodies to play with!

Ill have to update this with the product info, but this lipstick was supposed to give a sheer flush of color.  great shade for my skin tone

Love these shadows for fall!  The blush isnt wowing me, but I will still give it a try.

Mascara.....havent tried this type before, ill let you know my thoughts.

Good basics.....makeup remover and moisturizer

All in all, good items in this bonus bag.  I do not use clinique but will certainly try all these products out.  You can get this if you spend over $23.50 at the Clinique counter.
