Sigma brush set

I finally gave in, and ordered the Sigma brush set I have been wanting.  I was so excited for this to come in, and of course I had it sent to my office so someone could physically recieve the package.  I didnt count on getting sick and have to leave my poor bursh set sitting on my desk for a few days.  :-(  So I finally got it, and wanted to share the picture with you.  Also, I had to take the pictures in the guest room (that is still not painted!!!) because I had stripped the bed in my room to wash my sheets.  Anyway, here we go.....

This is the Essential Kit, Make Me Cool.  The retail price on this is $120.  I used a discount code though for 10% off.

This is how the package arrives.  Everything is sealed nicely and in perfect shape.

F30 - Large Powder: Even powder application. Uniform blending of powder products onto the face and body.
F40 - Large Angled Contour: Subtle cheek application. Use the angle to softly contour the cheekbone. Can also be used to apply blush.
F50 - Duo Fibre: Creates an airbrush effect onto the skin. Can be used with powder, liquid or cream products.
F60 - Foundation: Smooth foundation application. Apply liquid or cream products such as foundation and primer.

E05 - Eye Liner: Create smooth and even lines. Use with gel or liquid liners.
E30 - Pencil: Soften and smoke out lines. Soften pencil liners along the top and bottom lash lines, add shadow to line the eyes, or use to highlight inner corner of eyes.
F70 - Concealer: Conceal small areas. Conceal the hardest to reach areas such as around the nose and eyes
E40 - Tapered Blending: Soft blended crease. Using just the tips to apply color, sweep back and forth through the crease for a diffused and blended finish.
E55 - Eye Shading: Even application of color. Place color across the whole lid for an even and strong application of product.
E60 - Large Shader: Uniformly cover the whole lid with product. Apply cream shadow base or cream shadow for quick and even coverage.
E65 - Small Angle: Create precise lining. Moves fluidly and easily across the upper and lower lash lines. Use with gel, cream or powder liners.
E70 - Medium Angled Shading: Soft application of color. Use for brow highlighting or to blend the crease.
Overall, I am super happy with these.  Some slight issues with the cup and I dont see this as a good way to travel with brushes.  I think I roll would be a much better option.  I see the bristols getting smooshed on the large powder brush.  But these feel really good in your hand and are very well made.  I would strongly recommend these to anyone who is wanting to invest in a good set of brushes!

January Glam Bag/IPSY

I recieved my January glam bag and wanted to share it with you.  I am truly loving this service.  I get such a better value than I was getting from birchbox.  The samples are truly a delux sample and the availability of the products is great too!  Below is what I got:

Bag is super cute this month, a navy nylon type of bag and a lighter blue lining.

So glad I got the red!  I have seen some get a baby pink, but for me the red is best!

Smells great!  I havent used it yet though.

Josie Maran argon oil, something I have been wanting to try.

Big Sexy Hair hairspray.  great size for the travel bag

Eyeliner brush.  This is the second SOHO brush we have recieved and I really like them.  They are good quality and minimal shedding.

Ok, one Christmas gift!

I did want to share this one gift picture, lol. I broke up with my bf 2 weeks before Christmas so I certainly wasn't expecting any jewelry but my mom got me the cutest ring! It's a pandora ring, and given that I love pearls I certainly love this ring! The only bad thing is that it's sized to my right hand ring finger so I can't wear my grandmas diamond ring anymore. Maybe I will get that sized for a different finger though. We shall see.

Hello all!!

This last week has been pretty quiet for me. But not really fun quiet. I have had killer sinus pressure and then inflamed gums on top of it. Not a good combo. But I did get my bridge put in and I have a whole new smile....YAY!

I haven't really had anything to review for my blog. I thought of doing a Post on what I got for Christmas but decided against that. But I did a zoya order and got 3 of the pixie polishes on there, and did a sigma order too. I finally broke down and bought a brush set. My old Mary Kay set is on its last legs so it was time. It's also about time for my subscription services to come in and I closed a little black bag today too. Hopefully next week I will have all kinds of fun stuff to share!!

I needed to touch up my nails before an event I have tomorrow and I had the hardest time picking something. I literally had 10 bottles on my coffee table. In the end I went with a couple polishes I haven't used in months....Nars Purple Rain and Deborah Lippmann Bad Romance. I am loving it!! What was the last polish you re-fell in love with???

Holiday decorations!

I just got everything put away from Christmas but I wanted to share my decorations. I loved how everything looked for my first Christmas in my own home.
