i was surprised to see that Nordstorm is now carrying Ciate!!!  Each bottle is $15, and as always, free shipping!!!  Currently they have 98 different colors available....a lot of great ones!  The other site to order these from that is great is BeautyBay.com.  They are a little under $12 and free shipping, but it takes a few weeks to recieve it.  With Nordstrom you will have it within a couple days.

Favorite trends of 2012

With new years eve right around the corner I was thinking about what have been my favorite trends of 2012.  I may not have always been on pointe with the runway, but I did have my staple items of 2012.  I loved studs, layering jelwery, neons  and sheer blouses.  Tangerine was a hot color for the year but I didnt really go for it....same goes for the peplum....just wasnt for me.  Then I had my old standby's as well: scarfs, argyle and pearls. 

As far as hair goes, ombre was huge.....which was great for me.....I went 10 months withot coloring my hair!  haha

December Must Have Box

I know.....im late on getting this out, but I wanted to go ahead and share my December must have box.  Yet again, I am beyond pleased with what I recieved.  While this service is pricey at $35, the value is there.  I have gotten tired of Little Black bag, and have been skipping some with that so that saves me $50 a month.

Anyway, here is what I recieved:

Here is a breakdown of whats in the kit

Pretty soap.  I havent opened it, but it looks pretty in the basket with my other frensh milled soaps

Love these in my coffee!  I hadnt picked up any this year.

Lastly, these great coffee cups!  They are glass, but double walled so you can use them with hot or cold drinks!

Sorry for the lack of posts

Sorry I havent been posting much lately.  I have been super busy with the holidays and then throw is a ton of dental work and some personal issues......I dont think I have had any time to even take a breath.  But hopefully thats mostly behind me.  Plus, on January 9th I will have a whole new smile!  Very excited about that. 
Hoping that smile will make my eyes shine again.  Ever look in the mirror and even though you are smiling your eyes look so sad.  :-(  Its not fun.

Snow Bunny Gift exchange!

November IPSY bag! *SPOILER*

I recieved my November IPSY bag today so I thought it was the perfect opportunity to show you what I got on my blog today!  I did end up cancelling birchbox, so this and glossybox are the only beauty boxes I am still getting.  I just feel like the products from IPSY are a better value.  Enough of that though, and here is what I got.....

This month its an almost matte finish nylon type of bag. 

First product, bareMinerals moxie lipgloss.  I have tried their glosses before and I am a fan.  Love this color too!

Chella Eyebrow Defining Gel.  You can either recieve this or a benefit They're Real mascara.

Nailtini Lacquer.  Loving this color!  I have always been a fan of bar glitters!

theBalm Meet Matt(e) eyeshadow.  I tried to swatch it as you can see.  I nice matte finish you can work into your crease.

Last product, Starlet Cosmetics eyeliner.  Can never go wrong with a black liner!

This is cute!  I never noticed anything like this before, but it has an ipsy tag in the bag.

I wanted to try the polish and it matched with what I was already wearing so I put it on as an accent nail.

Dior Holiday collection

I fell in love with a color in the Dior holiday collection from Nordstroms!  I had to have Diorling!  Its a light gold color with small iridescent glitter pieces.  It was beautiful!  LOL  I ordered it last week online and when I opened it up.....THEY SENT THE WRONG COLOR!  But on a positive note, i loved the color they sent me too!  LOL  They had sent me Marilyn, a beautiful red color....and you can never go wrong with red.  So I decided to keep it and got the one I wanted in the first place as well.  When I called their customer service just to double check that I didnt need to send the red back they were very helpful and I got the correct one shipped out to me right away.  I am in love with these colors though and the bottles are just too cute!

One word on these polishes though, as cute as they are, the cap is a little awkward at first since its a different shape.  But after a couple nails you get used to it.

I'm loving the polish I picked up from the James Bond OPI collection. It was total impulse but it caught my eye in ulta while picking up gifts to donate for Christmas.
I couldn't resist Golden Eye! It's a great gold! It applies like a glitter but its more like flakes of gold. Took about 3 coats for full coverage. I did my nails Saturday night and still no chips. It's currently just on an accent nail but I may have to try a full manicure!

Target Beauty Bag

I got my target beauty bag in today!  I was excited for this because it was FREE!!!  YAY!  Obviously with this being target there wasnt going to be high end items, but its a great way to try some different things just the same.  To get this bag you had to sign up for it.  It was out of stock pretty fast though.  Who wouldnt jump on a free bag, lol.
