SEPHORA IN MADRID!

I would find a sephora in Madrid!  HAHA!  But in a surprise move.....I didnt go in!  I did however hit up mango, which was a great store!

Below are just a few pictures from my trip.  I have way too many to post everything!  haha

Glossybox June? July?

Well, I have been back from spain for a couple weeks, but was so tired that I didnt feel up to posting on my blog.  Sorry!  I will try to catch up over the next week though.  I have a few things to share from spain and the latest things I have recieved from Julep, Birchbox and such.  So without further ado.....here is my glossybox.....
Pretty package as always

Nice mix of products, but is it worth $21??

Nice size sample!  Ahava mineral botanic hibiscus and fig velvet cream wash

Another good size, First aid beauty smooth shave cream

Eh, this isnt too exciting.....Wella enrich moistuizing treatment.  I have used wella in the past, doesnt impress me too much.

vBeaute skin care trio.....very small, maybe 1-2 uses from each bottle.

Ofra cosmetics eye shadow.  Full size (14.95 value) but a color I would probably never use.  :-(

A Perfume Organic in Urban Organic.....WORST smeling perfume ever!

So yeah......glossybox.  I dont know how I feel about this box.  For $21 maybe I have higher expectations, but this was a little disappointing.  There were only 2 samples I was excited about.  I saw that other people recieved a mascara instead of the shadow I got.  I think I would have been happier with the mascara.  :-(

But on another MUCH more serious note, their billing system in terrible!!!  I was charged 3 times on June 11th, and twice on July 1st and 4th.  They do not seem to have a constant billing date and I assume this is the June box but I did not recieve it till July 3rd.  The additional charges dropped off but its still a huge hassel.  I think I am going to give it 1 more month before I make my decision if I want to keep or cancel my subscription.

Quick updates!

Sorry I have not been posting much this last week......work has been super busy with marketing events and I have also been getting ready for my trip to spain!  I leave wednesday so I am super excited!  The only, bad thing.....no internet on my iphone until I get to Madrid!  Madrid is the only hotel that I am staying in that has wifi!  :-(  No fair!  It was just way too expensive to add to my plan and the risk of overages was too great as well.  So I will be pretty much out of commission till I get back on the 23rd, but I am sure I will be exhausted by that point too.  Hopefully though I can pick up fun polishes and makeup while i am there!!!  :-)

The last thing I need to pack is makeup and polishes, and I have no idea what to take.  I thought of getting a gel manicure so I wouldnt have to fool with it, but they didnt have any openings at my salon.....I also didnt call a week before like I should have for an appointment!  LOL  I have thought of doing the sally henson nail sticker things, but I am not sure about that either.  May be better to just throw a couple of the mini opi's in my makeup bag.

Todays manicure os Showgirl by Ciate.  I am loving the color.....only bad thing is that it has chipped a lot faster than Ciate normally does.  I did my nails saturday afternoon and had to touch them up already.  :-(  This is the only polish by Ciate that I have had this issue with....hopefully its just a fluke and I have been harder on my nails this weekend.

God Save the Queen!

Forgot to post this over the weekend!  Today is the last day of the Diamond Jubilee so I had to post this while I was thinking of it!
Lillibet's Jubilee from Butter London!

Ciate Polish!!!

I recently discovered BeautyBay.com and they sell Ciate polish for 11.40 each and free shipping!  I love this polish and Sephora carries it, but has a limited selection and theirs is $14 a bottle plus shipping.  I have not seen it in any local stores yet.

It did take a while to get my order in, but if you are not in a hurry this is a great site to use to get Ciate polishes.

Glossybox USA!

I recieved my irstglossybox yesterday and wanted to share what I recieved.  Sorry this will be pretty quick, but I do not have much time.  I will try to edit it tonight.  We had big news on a product launch at work and that has taken most of the day.

Pretty presentation, box is pretty good sized.

Again, nice presentation.  My little toes are peeking in the picture!  haha

Items in the box!

Of course, I pick up the polish first!  Full Size zoya in Rory from Beach and Surf collection.  This product represents USA  ($8)

Added product, Blush Brush branded Glossybox, similar to the myglam brushes but the quality is much nicer.  This brush is goat's hair.

Amore Pacific hydrating gel.  .23 ounces, which is large for a sample (South Korea product).  Doing the math this is worth $13.  (correct me if I am wrong.....$100 for 1.7 oz)

Berberry Lip Mist sheerLipstick (UK prodc.  Full size is .12oz for $30.  I recieved .028 oz

Marvis Whitinening tooth paste (Italy).  Always wanted this because the package is pretty!  haha!  This is fullsized, $7.50

Hhyto Hydrating mask for dry hair.  Fullsize is 6.7 oz for $38.  I recieved 1.7 oz.

Its important to remember this box is $21/month compared to birchbox which is $10.  I do feel I got my money worth though.

Little Black Bag - Second May Bag

I am loving Little Black Bag!  You recieve one bag each month, but have the option to open a new bag should you find something you love in the gallery.  I saw a clutch purse that I was lusting for, so I gave in and did a second bag.  Usually I end up trading an item that I recieve but this month I loved each item they put in my bag.

The first piece is this Lydell bracelet.  It has a leather band but the jewled part is elastic.  I love the colors of this piece!  The MSRP is $15.

The second item is a set of earrings I tired to trade for in the last bag but didnt have any luck.  These were labled as "studs" however they are 1 inch in diameter.  In my opinion a little larder than a stud but the colors are perfect for summer. MSRP $35

The last item is the clutch I really wanted.  This is a BCBG clutch in blush.  Its a rather large size, and what I really love is that it does NOT have a chain attached.  May seem silly but I loved that this was a true clutch and not a shoulder bag.  I think this would look perfect with a white blazer and white cari's.  Throw on the earrings and a chic pony tail and the outfit it set!  haha!  MSRP $75
